April Lockhart
April Lockhart, born in 1995 on the 4th day of July, began taking lessons on piano and guitar at age seven. Her interest in songwriting was awakened. When April was 12, she composed her first single Different. At the age of 14, April was devoted for a long period of her time writing song ideas and practicing her musical skills. Soon after she began taking trips to write with father, who lived in NY as well as LA. April was also able to add other themes in the song "Take My Hand" for a few of her acquaintances who faced concerns like peer pressure issues, or even teenager suicide. Lockhart has her own fan base and works as an online lifestyle blogger for the renowned Ilia the Clean Beauty brand. The truth is that she was born without a left hand and that makes her unique. However, this isn't the only characteristic of her. Lockhart's Instagram account doesn't ignore the fact that she has a disability. But it also doesn't insist on it. The message? It is important to remember that everyone has numerous faces. Our identities are varied and we're greater than the bodies we wear. Lockhart says in a video interview with Lockhart via video "I do not believe that disability should define me. It's not my intention to be an influencer on disabilities because I've got plenty to offer." And it doesn't affect my day-to-day life I do every day as normal and have found the best way for me to adapt the things. However, it's a component of me, so I believe it's essential to discuss. Lockhart who is an source of inspiration for anyone who wants to be self-accepting and is currently on a lengthy journey to achieve it. She admits that she has gone through phases where she felt insecure about wearing certain clothing styles which displayed her arms. She now wears any outfit she wishes and shares pictures on Facebook in awe. The self-love she talks about is a process. It's not clear if you'll ever reach the end.
